I rarely encountered such an embarrassing scene, thinking about other interview subjects in my heart, and quickly made a second set of plans, and looked back and discussed with my colleague, her first, put down a sentence: "We will go tomorrow!"

 

At that time, the weather was not good, it was torrential rain for several days, and we were drenched in a wet body to find the door, and the result was not warm at all: the old man was either on a business trip, or "only in this mountain, the cloud is deep." We couldn't find the old man, so we had to start all around. I stayed at home to sort out the background materials, and my colleagues were responsible for the site. A few days later, the data collection was complete, and the colleagues of the old gentleman's unit were also ground by colleagues, some of them promised to send us the interview outline, and some of them secretly gave us the mobile phone number of the old man.

 

Finally, one sunny afternoon, we successfully arranged an interview in a cafe near the old man's residence. When talking with the old gentleman, we found that he carefully read our interview outline, and also knew our "blocking people" experience in these days, it seems that the saying that the effort pays off the people is not mysterious at all.

 

After the interview, when I thanked the persevering colleague, she once again raised her head: "What is this, I interviewed a famous scholar before, he rejected me 18 times, I harassed him 19 times, and finally we became friends."
